Mola Mask - Geometric Theme

from $34.99

This hand-made “Mola” art textile forms part of the traditional women's clothing of the Kuna people from Panama, Central America using a reverse appliqué technique. Several layers (usually two to seven) of different-colored cloth (usually cotton) are sewn together; the design is then formed by cutting away parts of each layer.

Our “Mola” masks are very sturdy and well sewn. They are all authentic “molas” and have already been washed many times and can be safely hand washed in warm water.

These “Mola” masks are made from hundreds of hours of manual work with traditional designs using the finest quality and no two are alike. When you select your favorite theme we will mail you a one-of-a-kind piece that may look similar to the one displayed in the preview image.
